Why defend animals ?

Often thought that people who defend animals are sentimental and baseless people defend their kittens and puppies and do not think about human suffering.

The animal rights is based on the principle of tolerance and respect for both human and nonhuman life .

The abuse of animals is comparable to the oppression of certain groups of power over others (Animal Liberation, Singer) so any manifestation of intolerance and cruelty is repudiated by the liberationist groups. For Animal Abuse is even more delicate by the fact that animals can not be expressed in an understandable way for the Common Human , voiceless , so it is necessary to interpret their suffering and protect them. Be the voice of the voiceless .

Some people argue that an animal should not have rights because they do not have the use of reason and therefore not be able to defend, but perhaps one bus , which has no voice or the use of reason ,
